The mobile says insert sim every now and then

The mobile says insert sim everytime it is switched on, and even sometimes when it is working properly; and it also says "temporary error:44" at the time. It starts working again when it is shaked vigorously.

Do you get this error message? As far as I know there are three chances to get this error..one is the sim may not have been inserted properly...try to insert it in the correct position. There may be an error with the sim try to insert other sim cards into the phone.Another chance to get this error is when you try to insert a sim other than the locked network. If your mobile is locked with a particular network then it will work with only that and will not be able to recognize/accept other networks.Inorder to unlock your phone you can either approach the network provider or third party unlocking vendor like Mobile-unlocker.com and remove the network lock.
Even after all this the problem persist it may be due to some hardware problem try to get in touch with the nearby mobile store.

1. turn off mobile phone2. remove phone battery3. remove memory card4. remove sim card5. wait for 2 minutes before plugging back anything6. after 2 minutes, plug back battery7. insert memory card properly8. insert sim card properly s well, make sure that the sim is not dirty as well9. turn on mobile phone10. check the signal bar, it should be with signal this time and not offline
*after power cycling, phone should be working properly now unless the sim card is really faulty. you check if its faulty by calling your mobile service provider*

I am using this airtel sim from past 6 month, from 3 days its showing sim registration failed........but when i m switching it off it starts working again but its showing the same problem...

The SIM card may not be making proper electrical contact. Remove the SIM card, clean the contacts on the SIM card and on the cell phone with alcohol then replace the SIM card in the cell phone.

its because the mobile cannot read the Sim card properly i had the same problem with 3 of my old mobiles this will cause havoc to the use of mobile as it will not read even at the most important times sometimes if you keep on taking the sim out you wear out the little scanner thing inside and make the phone useless cheers Shawty

"Insert SIM card."

its the contact of the simcard to the leads. try putting a thin piece of paper over the sim so that there would be pressure on the sim. as always, think of the contact.

Error messages in my Moto K1

Hey there First of all try insert a sim of a diffrent provider into your motok1, if they work then your phone is locked in order to prevent it from being used in diffrent providers. If this is the case you will need to find sombody that will "open" your phone to other networks
