Handpiece Volume Uniden XSA955

I have a Uniden XSA955. The handpiece volume seems to vary from high to low without pressing buttons. In both cases if I press the volume increase button to show volume status it shows high/maximum.

Any suggestions.

I have Uniden DCX700 phone- how do I turn the ringer on and off?

The DCX700 is an expansion handset for several different Uniden phones (DCT746, DCT748). To change the volume of the ringer, press the Vol + or Vol - button with the unit in Standby (not making calls). There are three ringer volumes: Off, Low and High. Pressing the Volume buttons will let you cycle through the list. The volume buttons are to the left of Talk below the LCD screen.

You can temporarily mute the ringer by pressing Mute while the phone is ringing.

The manual for the DCT746 is here: http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/DCT746Mom.pdf . All Uniden cordless phone manuals are available in numerical and alphabetical order here: http://www.uniden.com/scat/cordlessphones_mnl . The manual for the DCX700 handset (with registration information) is here: http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/DCX700om.pdf .

I hope this helps.

The volume on my Panasonic cordless handpiece is low model number KX-TC1060ALW

Possible that the earpiece speaker is bad and so must be checked and replaced. it is better to open and clean the earpiece and the check for sensitivity of the earpiece before you change. If not a problem in the board- AF section- could also cause similar issues.

How do I turn ringer off on my cordless Uniden EX18560?

Press and hold the cid/menu button, press the down arrow button to move the selector to RING VOL, press select/channel button to cycle through the three ringer volume levels(HIGH, LOW, and OFF). As you cycle through the three choices the phone will sound the new volume level. When you get to the volume you want, press the end button to save the new setting. I have include a link where you can download the manual.

This probably applies to your model:-

From the expansion handpiece - while the message is playing - hit the 4 button - or 4:delete button.

From the base unit - while the message is playing - hit "delete".

You can only delete all messages at once from the base unit.

How do you turn ringer on and off on a uniden exi8560 cordless 5.8ghz

hello. To turn the ringer off on that phone you need to get into the menu. The way you get into the menu is press and hold the menu/cid button for 2 seconds. Then press the arrow down button until you highlight the ringer volume. once the ringer volume is highlighted, press the select/channel button. that will rotate you through the 3 available volume levels. High, low and off. as you are pressing the select/channel button the handset sounds a sample of the volume level. when you hear the volume level you want simply press end and that will store your volume to the off position. to turn it back on, just repeat the above steps but select the proper volume level you want and then hit end. I hope this helps.. Don;t forget to rate me. thanks !
