switch the speaker connectors and see if the ones that work on the right work on the left. if they do then your amp is ok and the problem is either the wiring for the right side or the right side speakers. If the speakers don't work when you try this swap, then you have a bad channel onn your amp and will need a bench mechanic to fix it, (if you could find one). also make sure that you have a signal to both the right and the left, this can be tested by again doing a swap, take the left feed and put it in the side that is now working and if you hear sound then the inpurs are ok
Swap your left and right rear speaker over. If you still get no sound from the right speaker connected to the left speaker connection on the receiver, then you have a fault on the receiver output. Check your manual first to see if any setting switch off the rear speaker before taking the unit for repair or replace
swap the wires around to see if the right speaker will give sound on the left channel. If it does, the it's a blown left speaker. If you don't get sound out the right one either, then the left channel ouput has a bad capacitor somewhere in it.
Try a new patch cable between the receiver's input and the device your using. Also try swapping out the left and right speakers. If the left side still isn't working it's probably the output transistors in the amp and they will need replacement.
So your saying that you have no rear channel. Some recivers use a single stereo output ic for both sides on the rear speakers. you could have a defect with this IC . Anther thing Im sure you check3ed the obvious ie : the switch is on suround sound? If there is a front to rear fader is it in the middle? Good Luck
