Re: It wont let me have certain songs
You may have to convert certain files to a different format. It's probably the files that you bought from itunes directly, or ones that got burned in M4A or some other format. Check the info for some of the files and I bet you find a pattern. Then either use iTunes, or an audio converter from Download.com to take back control os you tunes.

this might be the ipod sytem has corrupted reset ur ipod through internet then if the songs are mp3 format copy it to the harddisk and then add to the itunes library or if it is audio format then rip it first then add to itunes library then the songs which are in itunes library will be synced automatically and there will be no charging problem..... enjoy apple ipod
i have an ipod touch and when i drag songs over like your talking about and its in the middle of syncing the song wont get put on the device til the next sync so let it sync up upplug it and then plug it back in and see if the songs start syncing to your device
In order to add music and playlists to iPods you need to download iTunes on the Apple website,
This is a regular problem with the iPods as some people just try to add music like regular MP3 Players but this is not applicable with iPods.
Here is a link to the download page to iTunes
Hi, I think you are using Itunes to Sync your IPOD-T.
If u r using Itunes Then u shouldn't delete any thing from ur ITUNES... Because, Sync is a option which will check the contents of your ipod and Itunes... If u erase anything from your itunes, then it will erase the same in ur IPod as well.... So U shouldn't delete anything from ur itunes....
Other option would be Manual Sync option... Where u have to drag and drop the contents from ur Itunes. Everytime....
Let me know, whether u want to manually add contents to ur ipod. so tat i can send u the settings?
The reason for the exclamation mark is because the song cannot be found. Delete your itunes library then add the songs again. you must have m,oved the location on your pc and itunes has lost track of them
Control Panel. Add/Remove programs, Select Itunes. Computer may want to restart.
Reinstall ITunes. Computer may restart.
Go into ITunes. Select add folder. Select your mp3 folder from your H drive. Library will rebuild and for that many songs it will take about 30 minutes to do. Make sure that when you purchase new songs that the folder is mapped to your external hard drive as well. I made that mistake of not doing it and it made a big mess.
Make sure your IPod is set for manual music management.
Click on one of your purchased songs from ITunes and login to your account using your ITunes user id and password. That will enable you to play your purchased musice from ITunes. If you have activated your ITunes account to play on more than 5 computers, you will have to get a hold of tech support to reset your computer count.
Try downloading the MEDIA MONKEY. Its better than windows media player and itune. It automatically detects any mp3 players and you can synch your mp3 player without any problem. Whether you are using vista or xp the media monkey is way better than windows media player.
I cant help you with trying to fix the format problem but i would recommend puttingall your itune songs onto a disk and then try to fiddle around with it. You wont have to worry as much. Sorry I'm not much of ahelp though.
