I'm not sure but I seem to have privacy director, and
long distance block on my coast to coast sales telephone line. I think my wife blocked all the calls (when I wasn't looking), to keep me from talking about sales all night.
My problem is this-it is a multible problem-I unblocked the call block, and now it has a three digit code that unblocks either long distance call block or privacy director.
I also need to transfer my old telephone line to my new fax line which is beeping as well. I tried to find which series of numbers will let me transfer my phone call via call forwarding to my fax line which is setup for my inbox in the computer. Is there a how-to do-it manual or some technical advice for me?

Looking through a bit, you may be in an 'outgoing calls barred' state. which you may need to talk to your sys-admin about. See Page 14 of the document. There are also sections about logging in and logging off the phones later on. If your sys-admin has set phones so that they need to be logged into to make calls (perhaps to track long distance charges), then perhaps you are logged out.
Depending on your service provider, you can block a call and specify the number to be blocked with hitting (*60). The phone will not ring when that person calls.
Another thing is anonymous call blocking which block well... anonymous calls. =]
Sounds like that station is programmed to restrict certain digits (like 1 in the prefix) -- this is usually done by the tech because the owner doesn't want unauthorized calls to take place from a publicly accessible phone. To confirm this, swap the phone with another identical working phone and see if it's still restricted. Good luck!
if you want to block your own number dial *67 before you dial... to block someone else try dialing
To activate Call Block or add a telephone number to the rejection list, dial *60. If you dont know the number to be blocked, dial *60 immediately after hanging up from the call. To turn off Call Block, dial *80. Call Block cannot block calls from some cellular phones, pay phones or business lines. It also cannot block most long distance numbers.
