2011 tgb r50x oil light flickers when braking

Just wondering how a wire could get from a a rolling platform (the car) to earth.
Except for some older English cars, I believe virtually all cars are negative ground. This means the negative terminal of the battery is ground and is hooked to the frame of the car as well as the return wires from electrical systems.
If your car follows color code, both black wires should wind up at the negative terminal of the battery, one way or another. You probably have two wires because the current load is too great for a single wire. If it matters to you, check the wiring diagram for your car before you tamper with these wires.

did you change any bulbs lately, if so remove that bulb and install the correct one......

Make sure all bulbs are ok on the side that is flickering.You may have a ground issue and that can be related to a bulb

Reset oil light after service... that is very important. And don't skip the oil change either.

1-turn on the ignition key,
2-press the gas pedal and hold it,
3-press the brake pedal 7 times without relesing the gas pedal,
4-keep pressing the gas pedal for 60sec.
5-Release the gas pedal and turn of the ignition key,
6- Wait for 60sec.
Then turn on the ignition key and start the engine. Check if the service/oil change light turned off.
That's it. Worked on my 2011 nemo van.

hey there is a recall for 2014 chevy cruzes to replace a ground cable that causes flickering headlights.

The flickering light usually indicates low oil pressure particularly at idle.Check oil quantity. How long since serviced and filter replaced. If these all good have your oil pressure tested with a master gauge. Some issues can be oil pickup slugged up or if high miler engine bearings.

Not saying that this is your problem but it might be your oil pump is getting weak or your oil pickup is dirty. I would start by changing the oil and filter.

are they on all the time?

Its possible you may have a bad Alternator
