Question about Computers & Internet
Just need drivers. Cyberdrive / khypermedia went out of business and I don't have the drivers anymore after doing a format.
The drive is recognized in the bios but not in windows. It worked great and was recognized until I did a complete system format.
I think it may be the dm168d driver, but I cannot be sure from the info.
Also found a guy at the following link who has one or a very similar one.

P4 2.4 /800fsb /HT
Hitachi 160GB 7200rpm SATA drive
Nvidia FX 5200 128MB agp video
Dell Ultrasharp 1800FP monitor
Aopen 16X dvd-rom Primary Master
BTC 1004IM DVD+-RW Secondary Master
CompUSA brand PCI Firewire card
Haupauge WinTV PCI card
Cyberdrive 082D *X DVD+RW in external firewire/usb combo enclosure
I also have a Pioneer 105 and Nec 1300A that are in externalenclosures, but I tend to stick with the Cyberdrive right now. The BTCwrite some media fine (ProdiscS03) and others not so good (Rytek G03and G04) so I primarily use it to read tough disks as that is all Iconsider it really reliable at.
Its a shot in the dark, so please don't vote unless I FIXYA!

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd then plug them back this should activate the found new hardware wizard or
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall your DVD/CD then reinstall the driver for this device
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down cd dvdrom drives if you see a yellow question or exclamation mark? ! or a red x right click you will need to update the driver or
select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver
hope this helps you
