Sony NSZ-GT1 usb ports not working

You will need to contact Sony support directly to get this issue resolved. Likely the USB port is working, but there is a glitch in the software of the TV that makes it freeze. The fact that it freezes, means the port IS probably WORKING.

Hard Drive failure

First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.
Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

My computer reboots continuously after starting it

I am assuming that this is a desktop
This could one of many problems this is how I would solve the problem
check to see if any thing is obstructing the fan if not check to see if after
a reboot if the CPU is hot(just below the fan) if not re boot the machine press shift F8 just before the windows screen you will com onto a menu screen one of the items on the menu is restart on errors put it off run machine if problem not solved you will have to unplug every thing on the motherboard and restart the machine
plug in one item at a time to see what is the the broken one (eg dvd rom harddrive sound card etc)

1. Check the status of the device in Device Manager (Start, Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager (if in Windows). If it indicated that your device is functioning normally, then;

2. Download the latest drivers for your device from the manufacturers website and update them.

Dvd problem, cyclic redundancy check error

Most likely there is some DRM scheme that your DVD drive does not support fully. Try looking for a firmware update for your DVD drive on your computer and see if that fixes the problem.

Dell xps desktop slot load optical disk drive stuck. Wont eject disk and no pin hole to stick a paperclip in.

It's probably a driver issue, I know this because I reinstalled WIN7 Pro, because of some experimenting and it was after the reinstall that media wouldn't eject using the touch-bar ejecter, although I was able to get everything else working flawlessly. No problem though, just open My Computer, right click on the CD/DVD Drive and click eject from the pulldown menu. Currently I'm looking for the driver fix, but haven't found it YET~! P.S. Anyone who thinks or says it's the BIOS is crazy... don't listen to them. It's more than likely a chipset driver because it's hardware, but don't rule proprietary software. Hope this helps~!

While watching a dvd, the computer freezes then makes me have to restart windows in a safe mode. this does not happen all the time, just after using the software for over an hour

If the computer freezes this may be a sign of bad memory in the unit. Powerr DVD would not be the blame for the computer freeze. also what could be the issue would be a video card failing to render the video. I would suggest you have this computer evaluated,, You could also try to recover the computer back to its factory settings if that does not work you know you got a hard ware issue.
