Hello sir; I believe you need to clean up your printer the method as follow;
power on the machine, open the cover,when cartridge move to the center UNPLUG the power cord, then you can manually push cartridge all the way to the opposite side of the cartridge seat, now you can clean up cartridge seat by Q-tip with water, sometime you'll find a ink stick sitting in the cell, remove it.

My printer prints pages

The print job properties screens vary depending upon your OS and the version of your printer software. When you click "Print..." from the File menu in an application, the current job properties come up. You need to look for a box that you can tick or un-tick that has to do with reversing the print order of the resulting pages.

Hp psc 1610 all in one printer wont print

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

HP 1610 printer

It occurred to me when I was reading your post that photo paper has printing and non-printing sides. If the paper is loaded upside down, it's printing on the non-print side, which would result in what you're seeing. It's just a hunch, but you might want to consider it.

HP.com has a web page that will walk you through the process of checking on this and other potential problems.

Checking image quality problems

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Scanned Items or Copies all print in Solid Black

I assume that you mean color images are being produced in black and white. If that's the case, there's a document on the HP web site that shows you what to look for and provides solutions:

Good luck.

do an nvm reset. When the printer is on, pull out the power cord. Hold OK and cancel and reinsert the power cord. When the scree goes blank, release the buttons and unplug the power cord. After 10 seconds, reinsert the power cord and start up. That might clear the problem
