Question about RCA HD52W59 HDTV Projection Television
I have a 52 inch projection t.v from rca model number hd52w59 and all of a sudden today it looks like its in 3-d. Is this fixable and not really expensive or should i just buy another t.v..
You have a convergence problem. First question does the picture curve in at top and bottom> Convergence is common problem. I see this problem all the time at the shop. NExt question. IN setup part of menu do you see an option called convergence if you do not this could be a easy enexpensive repair cousult "the fl231 problem" under tips and tricks if you do not have the convergence option. if you see that option then it could be one of three diffrent cuircit boards.

The cost I don't know, but this can be fixed. There are generally 3 lamps in projection T.V.'s, Red, Green, and Blue. They have to be aligned for the TV to project a clear picture. A credible TV repairman should be able to fix it. Depending on if it's new enough to be under warranty they may cover it as well. Really the only reason to get rid of it is if you want to get a new TV anyway. Depends on the cost of having the lamps aligned.
