This might be too late to reply . There are several reasons why your band saw is very noisy - your blade guide bearings are shot. Try oiling the bearings.
The blade might not be properly tensioned.
The blade might also not be correctly installed.
Check if the guide blocks are too tight because if that so, it will make noise .
But, inspect first every square inch in your machine, locate the source of the noise. If you didn't find any problem , perhaps, it could just be a noisy saw :) :)
This could be several things. To find the noise, unplug it, open the covers and turn the wheels by hand to see if you cand find where the noise is coming from - this might help you find the source of noise if it the blade is hitting something it's not supposed to. If that doesn't find it, you might try removing the blade entirely and running the motor to see if the motor is the source of the noise. If that doesn't find it, you might try putting a different blade on. Good luck.
Testimonial: "Thanks Al. Stripped it down and took motor out-bearing on lower wheel-pop riveted in-don't know how I'll fix that,so just oiled it up and maybe it will last a little longer"
