Most likely the problem is a bad control board (aka a clock) which has to be replaced together with the overlay.

    - The part number for the clock is AP3854311

    - The part number for the overlay is AP3776876

Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire range Model GLEF379DSB

    Gene.

You can find the complete troubleshooting instructions in the one of my previous posts: f10 error code

    - The part number for the oven temperature probe is AP2126609

    - The part number for the EOC is AP3763194

    - The part number for the overlay is AP2126499

The F10 F11 F12 F13 F14 Error Codes indicate that the electronic oven control board senses a runaway temperature condition in the oven through the oven sensor circuit.
This can be caused by a faulty oven temperature sensor probe or a failed electronic control board.
Oven temperature is detected by the control board as it monitors the resistance through the oven temperature sensor circuit.
You could have a failed oven temperature sensor, a wiring harness failure, an open thermal switch or a failed electronic oven control board that would cause this problem.
The first component to check would normally be the oven temperature sensor probe.
If you have a volt/ohm meter, you can shut off the breaker for the range and remove the screws that mount this sensor to the back wall of the oven.
Carefully pull the wire harness into the oven cavity until you get to the wire harness disconnect plug.
You should have enough slack to pull it this far into the oven.
Disconnect the sensor but do not let the wire harness retract back through the back wall of the oven or it will be hard to reconnect.
Measure the resistance of the oven temperature sensor with your volt/ohm meter. At room temperature, the resistance should measure around 1100 ohms.
The resistance chart is shown in the image below.

If the resistance is above 2200 ohms at room temperature, then the sensor probe is causing the F10 error code and will need to be replaced.

You can order a new sensor probe from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number for the sensor is 316217002.

If the resistance is normal, then one of the other causes mentioned above is producing your F10 code.
You would need to access the electronic oven control board (Timer) in the console and check the resistance at the sensor circuit connection to the control board as the next step in troubleshooting this problem.

Model 970-6874 oven overheated, couldn't shut it off. Had to turn breaker off. It read f10 ERR. Oven was so hot smoke detector was going

This oven was manufactured by Electrolux. However, you should double-check the model number. There should be two more digits in the number.

The F10 error indicates a run-away oven temperature. You need to unplug the oven or turn off the circuit breaker for at least 5 minutes to reset the error. Sometimes, the EOC (electronic oven control or main board) needs to be replaced. The oven temperature probe sensor may also be bad. This sensor can often be accessed through the oven; look for mounting screws on the inside back wall of the oven. Otherwise, you need to take off the back panel. The resistance across the sensor should read 1100 ohms (the wires to the sensor are usually violet). If you see a reading above 2000 ohms, replace the sensor. If the reading is 1100 ohms, then the control board is the part to replace. However, if the oven became too hot, the entire range need to be replaced. If your oven is under warranty, contact Sears for service.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the complete model number if you'd like help finding the parts for your range.

Frigidaire electric range #GLEFZ384GCA has an F10 signal, and appears to continue heating when set at 170.

Thank you for allowing me to assist you, Friend.

Typically error code F10 indicates that your Frigidaire range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Let's attempt reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, at this moment I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps! - Z

I get F7 10 error code

Hi Claude, thank you for your question! Could the error code possibly be F1 or F10? Typically error code F10 indicates that the range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Try reprogramming the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the range on. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further for an accurate diagnosis. Most likely the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hopes this information proves to be helpful.

Frigidaire es300 gas range kepps flashing f10 and f13.how to resetand get the clock working

Hello Carol Martin - Typically, error codes F10 and F13 could indicate a variety of issues. The range could possibly have a shorted keypad, runaway temperature (higher than normal temperature), faulty EOC (electronic oven control) or, display wire harness missing/not connected. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually clears most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.

F10 error code on Model # FEFL79GCA Frigidaire Stove

Hello - Typically error code F10 could indicate a variety of issues. The range could possibly have a runaway temp (higher than normal temps), shorted keypad, faulty EOC (Electronic Oven Control) or, display wire harness missing/not connected. Usually, this code means to replace the EOC. You may be able to reset the range by disconnecting the power to the unit for up ten minutes. Usually this will clear most false error codes. You can disconnect power by either unplugging the unit or flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. If resetting the unit proves to be ineffective, I would recommend contacting a professional to move forward accurately.

When the oven is turned on about 10 minutes later a f10 code comes on with a beeping. I've tried upluging from the outlet waiting 1 min. before reappling the power cord. I still get a f10 code

The F10 error code indicates a runaway temperature condition. If your oven is overheating, unplug the power cord for a few minutes. When plugged back in if the oven is still overheating, you will need to have the temp sensor & control checked.
