I have the same problem. I have added the software provided with the digital keychaing. When I bring the program up, i try to browse the photos on my computer, and it does nothing. I tried to copy the photos, but it doesn't allow me to add them to the "file manager" of the Photo Viewer. I don't know what else to do! I am so frustrated. The instructions say "use the photo viewer's file manager to browse photos on your computer. Once you select a photo, it will show up in the crop marquee" But that is not happening!!! :):) Help!!!!

Hi Ryan - You should have gotten a USB cable to connect the keychain to the computer. Once you connect it, go to My Computer, then look for the removable drive that should be your keychain. Open it.

Minimize that window, and open another window under My Computer and browse to the folder that holds the photos that you want to move. Once you find them, copy them as you would any other file and paste them into the removeable drive (your keychain) that you have open.

Your keychain should have come with a booklet explaining what file types it will except, but normally .jpg files are universally accepted. Your digital camera most likely saves files in the jpg format.

Best wishes -

When you view the pictures you should have an option to choose or check off which photos you want to download.

Try opening your disc where the photos are from your File Manager on your computer.

Go to your lower left corner and right click your mouse on Start and open Windows Explorer.

then look at your drives of your computer on the left side of the screen
You should see C drive and search for the photos or open the folder with the photos and whichever drive you have your photo disc in.

When you click on this drive your computer may ask "would you like to view the photos with MS photo viewer or something similar.

View the photos first, they will open all at once. You should have a spot to click in and put a check mark to download ONLY those photos from the disc to the laptop.

Give that a try. Of course if it states "would you like to download all the pictures, click NO if available.

What cant you upload ??..
I assume its from your emails

You can share your photos and experiences with friends and family via email.
Your computer's "My Pictures" folder is a handy place to save photos you receive from loved ones, giving you quick access to your photos.
You can organize the folder as you would other folders on your computer by adding new files and folders; copying, pasting and renaming image files; and removing them altogether.
If you're unfamiliar with copying photos from your email and placing them in "My Pictures," just follow along for the email software and operating system that apply to you.

Cannot load photos from my vista program unto my photo key chain

I solved this problem through persistence - clicking on everything I could find, I found out that I needed to clic on "Users" and then my name and then i could find the photo files. It would have been helpful if this information had been included in the digital key chain disc instructions.
