Question about IBM ThinkPad X41 Tablet PC
The left click of my mouse (laptop hp pavillion dv6000) as of 3 days now. is messed up....
when i drag the mouse and left click in google search to search or to type a web address it wont let me type instead it offers me all editing options, cut undo....or back...if i want to type i have to hold down the mouse and type with one hand then it will allow me to write its ridiculous...hope this is enough info...
Could be a bad driver or a damaged palmrest.
Try to reinstall the touchpad driver.
Go here and click 'synaptics touchpad'. Go through the process and restart when prompted.
If it still doesn't work, it could be a damaged palmrest. Call HP at 800-474-6836 to see if your warranty covers the replacement. Otherwise, they can further diagnose the issue and refer you to service centers for parts replacement.
