According to the documentation in the manuals, the clock is only able to be set is you have an HD/digital cable service hooked up to it. the tv is supposed to auto set from the feed. sort of like your cell phone does when it has contact with the system.

If you are talking about the clock on the DVD display then.....
Audio display model
1. Turn the audio unit on by pushing the "PWR"
2. Push the "MENU" button until the display
indicates the clock adjustment mode.

So if your just using an xbox or ps3 you will not be able to do it.
If you have your cable / direct tv hooked to it. You should be able to go to the "Menu" button select it.
Then in the Menu display it should show a "time" box or clock icon.

I'm using the Dynex as a computer monitor, direct connect and I do
not get the icon for time.
Therefore I can not change the display time for the TV.

The touchpads, in conjunction with the dial, are used to select an oven mode,
set the oven temperature, set the time(s) and to set up your range. To use the
