When i conect my nikon s3000 camra to my pc usb open and then it vanished.bt i copy picture to camra in my pc bt dont paste any picture in it whats problam is this ?

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

Transferred pics from computer to card and the camera will not display them - all are jpeg just like what the camera takes. These were from the camera but I wanted them back on the card also.

once out of the camera & deleted form the card, the camera will not display any of the images because it does not have that function. even jpeg images being the same format cannot be viewed.

Connection of camera to computer

This can cause by a bad usb cable that you're using to connect the camera to the computer, so better try to use another USB cable and also connect the camera to another USB port on your computer so we can check if the USB port is bad or not...

I'm trying to save all my pictures from my camra to my desk top

hey..
Connect your USB cable to the USB jack in your camera and USB port in your computer.
Turn camera on.
Go to "My Computer" on your PC
Locate the drive for your camera.
Double-click the camera drive. u ll have folders with images in it
Click the images folder to highlight it. Then select the "Edit" feature, and "Move to folder." Here you can select precisely which folder on your computer you want to store your pictures in.

Download pitures to hardrive

Plug the camera into the computer using the USB cable. Open My Computer. There will be a new drive listed there, that is your camera. Open the drive, your photos will be in folders -- just save them to your My Picures (or whatever folder). It is possible, if you have autorun enabled, that you will get a wizard open when you plug in the USB cable-- you can also just follow the choices there as to how you want the computer to handle your photos. Hope this helps.

I have a jvc model number GR-D770U AND IM TRYING TO TRANSFER what is on the cassette to my computer with the usb cable how do i do it.

Your camcorder is only able to transfer still pictures with usb,if you would like to transfer a video you must use a DV input on a computer. If you would like instructions on how to transfer still pictures using the usb.Install software that was included with camcorder then make sure your using the adapter instead of battery otherwise you may run out of power, then make sure your unit is turn off then plug in usb cable to computer. After plug unit in turn on camcorder and use software provided to transfer pictures.Never pull out memory card when plug in to computer and make sure you do not unplug cable while arrow signs pointing right and left on view screen.I hope this helps you out happy picture taken.
