Well lets think about it. If you see the ignitor glowing then you have a complete circuit. That means the oven control is sending down juice to the ignitor. The oven safety is alloing for continuity because the ignitor is indeed coming on. So what in the heck could be the problem. All the components SEEM to be working. The answer is simple. The ignitor WILL get WEAK and not put out enough AMPS to open the bi-metal inside that safety valve. The way to know for sure is to clamp on an ammeter to the system and do a simple amp draw check, however, we aint all got a hundred dollar ampmeter to check amp draw with.
Look at the ignitor,is it orange or very bright? If it is a mellow orange the chances are it is weak. Replace it.

I will remove the door if it comes off easily. Then remove the racks and floor of the oven. Next I remove the flame spreader and then I can get to the burner. I carefully pull on the ignitor wires until I get to the quick connect. Unplug the igniter and get the burner with igniter out of the stove. I swap is all out on the bench. If you don't have money for a new part you could always swap ignitors. Most of these stoves have 2 ignitors one for broil and one for bake. Most folk don't do a lot of broiling.

Can't seem to access Hotpoint Stove Pilot Light?

Your range uses electronic ignition, not pilot lights. For surface burners the igniter sparks when the gas valve is turned to the "light" position. All burners should spark when any gas valve is in the light position. For the oven the ignitor is also electric but does not spark but rather heats up or glows. What is the problem with your range?

All pilots ignite when 1 gas knob is used on one burner

All igniters will spark when you turn on any burner but only the one you have turned on will allow gas through to ignite.

I have a GE Hotpoint stove/range model num 317B6641P001 that the oven will not ignite nor will the igniter turn on.

It sounds like the ignitor is bad...you will not or should not smell gas if ignitor is bad...gas valve is not supposed to open until the sensor by the ignitor has reached a certain temp. It's a safety feature. If you replace the ignitor, it should work like normal.

I have a gas stove. The oven is not getting gas. The pilot light is lit, and the range works normally. Do you have any idea why the oven is not getting gas?

Oven won't work

If its gas change the oven ignitor. It has to draw enough current to open the gas valve. So its only working half the time. Replace the oven ignitor and it will fix it.
