Question about Ruud Matching Split Air Conditioner
The central heating light flashes continually and although the hot water and central heating light go on nothing happens. If I reset the central heating temperature control by switching off and then positioning I get hot water for 4 mins before it reverts back to flashing. What's the problem? How can it be fixed? I've had for about 4 years and no problems until now.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Sounds like a control panel.Detatch the block connector that serves the gas valve, see if you have power on the bare pins.both left and right pins should measure mains voltage. If you have no power at the pins its the pcb control board.Replace the board.

It sounds the furnace is going into lock out, you have a safety fault problem of some kind.
It could a ignitor, flame sensor, limit or roll out switch, etc.
You really need to have a service technician check it out.
