Problem for Motorola RAZR V3i Cellular Phone

I have problems accessing my micro SD memory card

I have a Motorola RAZRV3xx and i put in a San Disk 4 gig card..
It doesn't even recognize it as a storage device ...
I looked all around the phone and it doesn't even say jack about it...
When i disconnect it, it says memory card disattached.. which i think is normal
When i connect my phone to computer via USB cable it says some things are not accessible...
I even plugged in the card to the plastic socket and insert it to my computer and formatted it..
yet no results..
I read the user manual over and over..
What do i do??
