I had this happen on my deskjet, it's the same symptoms as a paper jam, you can try seeing if there is any debris in the pathway, if you have some compressed air, try blowing the pathway free of any dust or hair this usually does the trick.

Hope this helps.

My wireless printer hp deskjet 3050 is not printing the wireless blue light keeps blinking and does not go solid like it used to what do i do?

if the wireless blue light is blinking, it means it's not connected to the router or it's not communicating with it.If wireless blue light is solid ,it means it's connected to the network.
you will need to reconnect the printer to the network by using a USB cable.it will configure the wireless connection.
  1. to start the installation ,click on the start button on the computer
  2. click on programs or all programs depending on the operating system on the computer
  3. look for the HP folder and then left-click on it
  4. inside the HP folder,left-click on DESKJET 3050a or DESKJET 3050 series
  5. inside the DESKJET 3050 folder, left-click on product setup and software
  6. left-click on connect a new printer
  7. it will open up a page with options on how to connect the printer
  8. select wireless and then hit next
  9. if you are prompted to connect the usb ,please connect it
  10. if it asks you whether printer is connected to the network, select no
  11. click on next
  12. if usb is already plugged in,tick the box that says it's already plugged in
  13. hit next
  14. wait for the prompt to unplug the cable
  15. try printing wirelessly
let me know if these steps do not solve your problem.

Printer does not pick up paper to print.

The rollers may be dirty and slipping. I just fixed this problem on my old HP 820Cse by cleaning the three rollers with rubbing alcohol (99% isopropyl alcohol) as follows:
1) Remove the paper tray. The release lever is under the tray.
2) Saturate a small 4-layer pad of paper towel with the alcohol.
3) Try to print something. The rollers will turn. While they turn, hold the alcohol-soaked pad firmly against one roller.
4) Repeat 5-10 times for each roller until no more black stuff comes off. (Push the button next to the printer's amber light to repeat the print cycle.)
5) Slide the tray back in. You're good to go!

I have an HP 820Cse printer. It has fresh catridges, & for some reason it wont print. I tried to print something from Wordpad, & the wheels began to take the paper in, but immediately stopped. ...

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
The yellow Resume blinking light refers to one of these issues;
  • The top cover of the printer is open or the printer is not responding.
  • The printer detects a faulty, incompatible, or improperly installed print cartridge.
  • The print cartridge contacts are dirty and the printer cannot detect a print cartridge.
I guess yours will be third case, do check for the first two at your own. For the third one, follow the instructions;
Note: Please Do Not wipe the nozzle end of the cartridge or touch the silver-colored nozzle plate on the bottom of the cartridge.
Clean the contact points on the cartridges with a dry, lint-free cloth.
  • Open the top cover of the printer.
  • Remove the print cartridges.
  • Clean the copper-colored contact points on the cartridges with a dry, lint-free cloth.
  • Use a dry, lint-free cloth to remove moisture from the contacts.
  • Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
  • Close the top cover.
  • Try printing again.
If you are having issues, do tell me.
