You got a convergence board problem that would need to be repaired around $150 bucks.. This would need to be done by a repair technition as there are things that need to be reset inside once the new part is in place.
ok the problem u have is that u need to have a scope and a volt meter to test the circuits what i would do is check and see if u have a 130 v on the horiza output transistor first. but if u dont have any meters there is nothing u can do to fix the problem. and just rember that phillips allwas wonts u to buy the board that is y it is not cheep to repair a magnavox or phillips sometimes u can buy another tv lot cheaper. i hope this help some what marty.

ok 2 things could be wroung one is u have a bad crt board one way to find out is swap the blue crt board with the red crt board and see if the blue comes up and now u have no red. now u can not swap it with green the green crt board is allways by it self noe if that does not work and u still have no blue it could be the picture tube or something from the video board that is blaking it out and without a scope u cannot trace it but if u are lucky it will be the crt board hope this helps u
you will need the replacement screens. Phillips doesnt make them anylonger, they are exspensive. But you can get one by leaving a email at the following link with the model number of your set and what youre needing. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
