You should look back into the booklet of your phone because the files may need to be in a specific folder. Most phones will be like that.

How do I copy a video file from my cell phone's device memory to a micro SD card?

Your video is stored on your phone's micro SD card already. Remove the micro SD card in your phone and mount it in your computer, Ipad or tablet. You may need an adapter. Once you have removed and stored the file you can transfer it to any other device or SD card or manipulate the video file in your computer. Or you can try a direct USB connection from your phone to a computer. May need an adapter cord for that.
All else fails - open a free account with Dropbox and upload your video file from the phone. Store it there and distribute as you see fit. Sometimes you can send a large file with a text message, also.

Hi my konka phone does not save to my SD card, my girlfriends konka phone does not save to the SD either. Could you please help us with problem, thank you.

By default, the device will save files and downloads to the internal sd card. You need to change the default download location to the external sd card, which can be done in the storage settings of the device. Note: Not all files can be stored to the external sd card by default

Photo and camera

When this app are not found, it usually because the folder where the camera is saved is not in the phone memory but instead in the internal SD memory.
You need a file manager, open the file manager and you should have 2 options, a. device b. sd card
Go to sd card and search for a folder named DCIM, if it's here thenit should be OK. If it's not, then tap device or just go back until you reach device, storage, sdcard1 or external storage, again, it all depends in the firmware and file manager that you download. If you see the folder DCIM in the external SD card or SD card1, then just move it back to internal sd or SD card0. Reboot and it should be good to go. If by any chance there is no DCIM folder, then just go to the PlayStore and download any camera that is free, this will create the folder.

How to view portable device as removeable storage

Your phone's system is 2.3? if it is, you need to mount the SD card to the computer, pull the notication bar when you connect the phone to computer and hit the "mount SD card" or hit the option of "as a storage" when the phone remind you. Thus, you can see the SD card as a removable drive in the recovery software, know more here: Android Data Recovery

I cant download anything from the playstore.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER
If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

My girlfriend has an lg vue phone for at&t and she has a micro sd card but it will not let her save files like pictures and text messages so she cant set up files for certain people in her phone

Take the sd card and save everything that is on the card to somewhere,
then delete the stuff on the card, (DO NOT FORMAT THE CARD WITH
COMPUTER)

Now place the empty card into the phone and power up.
Go to settings and find--- format external memory for mass storage.

You can not save text messages to a memory card.

I cant put music on my lg volt

when the phone is plugged into computer via usb port, on the display of the phone will say usb modem , usb mass storage device with a checkmark beside it. tap where it says "usb mass storage device
" on the display of the phone. on your computer it should begin to install device drivers, and now you can view or transfer files to/from the phone. note: you need to have a micro sd card installed on the phone before you can select usb mass storage under usb phone settings. hope this helps because i like to never found the answer, had to call lg customner service to find the answer, this info is not in the owners manual or anywhere to be found on the internet.

I have a htc touch phone and i put all my pics on the storage card, and than one day all pics where gone and nowi cant even save my pics to the storage card.. and now there is storage card , and storage...

Why this happens:
If for any reason your phone cannot find the SD card on boot it will create a folder on your Phone's Memory called 'Storage Card' to put the Temp Files, Pictures, Music, etc into. Now as soon as the SD card becomes available, since there is already a folder called 'Storage Card', it is forced to name the "Real" SD Card 'Storage Card 2'.
Solution: Delete the "Storage Card" folder and soft reset. If the phone finds the "Real" SD Card, it will be named 'Storage Card' again. If for some reason it is not found, you might have a corrupt SD Card that needs to be reformatted. This would of course loose all the information on the card, so hopefully this is not the case. Warning: If you have pictures or other files in the 'Storage Card' directory, you will want to move them to 'Storage Card 2' before deleting 'Storage Card'. Use the 'File Explorer' found in your 'Programs' to do this. Good luck!
