Colors are separated on the top from the left to right

The colors are separated on the top from right to left. Start about 1/3 across the top. the words dip down and are separated by the colors. the rest of the picture seems fine/ There is a little bit of this on the bottom but its the top left side that dips down about 8 inches. We just got the TV and were told about the problem, but we have manual to help us out and know nothing about the TV. Sound and color on rest of picture is great.

We did try the magic focus, but were really clueless about it. We don't have the owners manual so we're in the dark about the whole TV. Im trying to find one. Also a service manual. Thanks so much.

Probably the color convergence is off. I had a similar problem. Have you tried the magic focus button yet? That is located at left in the small front control panel. Power on TV, wait 20 min (according to user guide), then press the magic focus. If that doesn't fix the problem, you could try the service mode alignment procedure. But that's a little trickier. I don't have a link handy for that procedure right now, but will look for it if magic focus doesn't re-align your color convergence.

Here's a link to the service mode procedure for correcting convergence. Scroll down. I tried this and couldn't correct the red grid, and ended up in the screen with 9 cross hairs. Only way out of that is to take off the front cover of the TV and press a small blue button on the convergence board. The fix for my convergence problem is to replace the amps and some resistors on the convergence board. I've ordered the parts, but if it comes to that for you and you can't DIY or don't want to mess with it, you'll need a service call.

My power led connector (green, white) power sw connector (black, white) got out of place and i dont where they go

The eMachines T3302 desktop computer, uses an FIC K8M-800M motherboard.
(First international Computer, Inc.)

Where those wires go on the motherboard, is termed a Front panel header.

The Front Panel is the plastic front bezel of your computer.
(Where the Power On button is, Power On LED light, and so on)

Looking at the motherboard with the Processor to the Top, Ram Memory slots to the Right, the Front Panel header is at the bottom right corner, and over to the left.

Look at the jumper block in the bottom right corner. Right in the corner.
This is the LED type selector, jumper block.
Has 6 pins.
3 across the Top, 3 across the Bottom.

(This jumper block is to set whether you are using a Power On LED light, that has Dual Colors, or a Single color.
The default setting of the jumper on the block, is set to use a Dual Color LED light, for the Power On LED)

Move to the left of this jumper block. The Front Panel header is to the left of this jumper block.

(FIC terms it a Front Panel Block Connector)

It should be White in color.
Is right against the bottom edge of the motherboard. (Parallel to the outside edge of the motherboard)

Has two rows of pins sticking up.
5 across the Top.
4 across the Bottom.

The pins are numbered from the Right, going towards the Left.

(From the Power On LED jumper block, towards the Front Panel header)

On the Top row going from Right, towards the Left,
Pins 1 ,3, 5, 7, and 9.

On the Bottom row going from the Right, towards the Left,
Pins 2, 4, 6, and 8.

A) Pins 1 and 3 are for the Power On LED light.
Pin 1 is for the Positive ( + ) wire.
(Green)

B) Pins 5 and 7 are for the Power On switch.
Pin 5 is for the Positive ( + ) wire.
(Black)

[Although it really doesn't matter which way the wires go. It's a SWITCH]

C) Pins 2 and 4 are for the HarDDrive activity LED.
Pin 2 is for the Positive wire ( + )

D) Pins 6 and 8 are for the Reset switch.
(IF used)

If any of your LED lights are dim, after attaching the Positive wire for each LED, it's because the Positive wire is on the wrong pin.
Switch the wires around

Thin red horizontal lines across screen

While looking at your TV, remove the bottom right speaker grill. There you will find a cover held by a couple of screws. Remove the screws and behind the cover you will find the "focus pack" which is a group of 6 adjustment screws. The top screws adjust (in order from left to right) the brightness of Red, Green and Blue.

What you will do preferably at night (or with the room dark) turn the top left adjustment screw (Red) all the way to the left and then gradually turn it to the right until the point you can see the retrace line and then turn it slightly to the left until the retrace line disappears. That's it! You can do this for all three colors - if need be. These do go out of adjustment every now and then. The 3 screws on the bottom are to focus the colors individually to minimize "bloom" on the screen. It's best to be in service mode on your TV when doing this OR open up the cabinet and cover (with something) the other 2 colors while you adjust the focus of the color you're adjusting.

Good Luck!

Mag innovision LT716s monitor

When I turn on my computer the monitor takes a long time to warm up and colors change and vertical lines flash across the screen from right to left before the screen becomes normal again. Now the power light even goes out upon turning on my computer and I have to unplug the video cord and plug it back in to start the screen back up which even takes longer.
