What OS are you running? If it is OS 9, make sure you have the mass storage drivers for USB installed.

How do I transfer from my la cie to my computer

Remove the USB module from the LaCie Write Card and plug it into a free USB port on your computer. Your computer should assign a new drive letter to the USB module (such as D: or higher letter). In Windows use Windows Explorer (on a Mac use File Manager) and you will be able to copy files from your LaCie USB module to your computer.

How do you use/connect the blue USB 3 cable in the AZZA Hurrican 2000 case? Does it require a motherboard with a USB 3 connection? Or does it require a USB 3 PCI card? Right now it is just dangling into...

You need a usb header for it on your main board or you need an external usb 3 cable to run it to a usb 3 port at the back of your box.

What I'm not quite understanding is why you have the blue cable as well as a normal usb connector dangling from the end of it. When I connected both of those up to usb3 ports I shorted out my motherboard. Not good.

Also I'm not entirely sure that the blue cable works for me. I couldn't read my external flash drive with it.

There are also two tips for you.
The first one is a bit complicated,if you are proficient in Computer, you can have a try.Windows XP' password stored in Windows \ System32 \ Config under the SAM file.Ok,the you may know how to do.
Step 1:Login to a Computer that has Windows XP system.
Step 2:Copy the SAM file to a floppy disk.
Step 3: Then turn to your locked pc and insert the floppy disk Reboot the PC and enter into MS-DOS.
Step 4:In dos, type : del c: windows\system32\config\sam ,then you will delete the SAM file.
Step 5: type : Copy a:\sam c:\ windows\system32\config,copy the other's SAM file to your PC.
The second one is very easy, everyone can understand how to use. What is more, this can 100% help you fully remove the unknown password
Simply go to Windows Password Key website to download this tool,it is a power windows password recovery software And most of all, it's the most popular and safe solution for resetting your Windows password until now.

Step 3.Run the program and burn to CD/DVD OR USB flash drive
Step 4.Turn to your locked PC,insert the newly create CD or USB to your drive.Reboot the Computer and then follow the instructions,it is very easy to use.

How should i solve my usb problems they working to slow? i want the solutions through registery......... rest all i had tryed

Probably not your USB going slow (unless its usb 1.0) Try to see if you have too many background programs going and turn them off before reading/writting to your USB device.

Fitted new graphics card now i have to press F1 key to reboot

hi david_culley,

looks like the installation did not work out properly
you may be caught in a routine that the machine boots up continously,
If you have an onboard graphics card, please disable it in the BIOS before your computer can find the newly installed device.

try this and if you still face the prob please come back to fixya.

Good luck

Apple Mac 9600/350 problems

Try moving the PCI sound card to another PCI slot. On standard PC machines the IRQs are limited to 15 and many cards require their own, not a shared one. (start from the lowest going up... Leave the graphics card in the top slot (if PCI as well)
