Casa Vieja Probe Ceiling Fan - Cannot Change Remote Code

I have 2 Casa Vieja Probe ceiling fans installed in 2 different rooms. The batteries were running out at one point, so I replaced them in both remotes. Ever since then, one of the remotes does not work with the original security code (to make it independent) and both fans/lights now operate under the same code, meaning 1 remote turns both lights on and off at the same time.

How do I reprogram one of the fan/light and remote combos to work on their own security code frequency, so each remote will only work with 1 room?

look on the side of the canopy there should be a slide switch. if moving this switch has no effect, then either the switch is faulty or the connections to it may have fallen off.

Newly replaced circular light bulbs flicker and strobe in Casa Vieja Ceiling fan and eventually burn out. Do I need to change ballast resistor?if so How do I change that?

Take the light down - a two person job in case you dont know it. Find and remove the ballast. Take it to a electric supply store and get a replacement. Get a new lamp at the same time.
