The model number is PSC23MGTA. The lights on the panel still light up. But whenever the bar is depressed, the compressor turns off (if it is on) and the light of the selected item goes out. So if ''water'' is selected, the compressor would turn off if its on and the water light goes out. It started with ice sometimes not being dispensed. Now the entire panel is not working.
Is there any way this problem can be fixed myself, perhaps because of a blown fuse or something? Or does this have to be done by a registered tech?
Thanks!

- OK. Is that something that a tech has to deal with? Or can a person change it out themselves if they get the part?
-   Yea the refrigerator worked perfectly fine as it held temperature until it had food in it. Also it would shut down if you pressed any of the buttons on the ice/water dispenser. The repair man from the warranty company came out and replaced the main control board and that fixed the compressor issue, but none of the digital readouts work or the dispenser. The warranty company gave up and basically told me to pound sand and refunded my service fee. NEVER GET SERVICE ONE for a home warranty company. Even though the refrigerator does not hold temp, the fact that the ice maker isn't working either voids their warranty for the whole refrigerator.-   doug369

In-door icemaker has a plastic ice separator that is detached on the right end. I cannot tell how it is to be held in place. It is white plastic and is the part closest to the front freezer door.
