That subwoofer has dual 4ohm voice coils, if your amp can handle 2 ohms, you would put a wire from the positive (+) on the amp to the positive on both connectors on the sub, then hook the negative (-) on the amp to the negative on both the sub connectors that will be a 2 ohm load on your amp make sure your amp at 2 ohms is not more than 600 watts RMS or 1200 max.

Hay i just brought da sub on its own and dont no wat a good size amp and power needed to make dat bumpn bumpn feel...and how to connect it all up plezzzz.... fnx DJ KINGXL out

buy a bridged amp with half the power of your sub (ie 1200 watt sub use a 600 watt amp) this will stop distortion at high volume get in touch when you have the amp and i'll go through how to wire it .

I have a ma audio 15 and i 2 know how big the box needs 2 b

Hello aerickson28,

That MA need a pretty good sized box to perform properly. 2-2.5 cu/ft sealed and 5 cu/ft ported.

Here's a link to the MA Audio specification page for the HK15X2:

Hope this helps.

Yes i have a 1000 watt amp and when i turn it on it stays on fine until the bass hits and then it kicks off then it kicks back on and the problem reaccures

I believe you have your gain on the amp turned up to high. Try turning the gain down, or if you have a LOUD button on your headunit turn it off
Hope this helps

Make sure that you have the subs wired in a 4-ohm series and not a 8-ohm load

6oow 12in. subwoofer

look to see if somthin got in there and if not if the subwoofer is ok you might have to much of a high signal going in to the sub. Sub are only reted for low Hz and not High Hz and if you get a high in to the sub the cole cant moves fast to me the high Hz that is getting.
The best way to fix that is with a crossover and make shour that you crossove is for lowbuypass only.

Im not sure how to hook these speakers up

answer depends on what kind of Ohm Load your amplifier is capable of as a lowest allowed setting. ie if you have a 1400W at 4 Ohm amplifier, the connection would need to be different than a 1400W at 2 ohm amplifier. also, on the speaker what is the rated ohm load per coil since it's a quad coil speaker (should say somewhere on it's box, or in it's manual. I'd assume 4 ohm per coil) we'll do that math after you get those figures in to me.
