Question about Panasonic DMR-ES30VS DVD Recorder/VCR
The machine keeps switching itself off. i turn it back on and it displays F09.after a while it switches off again.
I had this code (f09) on my Panasonic DVD VHS recorder. After seeing that it meant overload I took the cover off to look for burnt out components. I found that an electrolytic capacitor had bulged (look up capacitor plague on wikipedia). I replaced the capacitor with one of a similar value from an old power supply and it worked fine.
