SOURCE: Hobart WM-ID dishwasher doesn't heat water enough to clean dishes

The WM-1D does not have any internal heating devices. You have to supply the machine with the proper water temp. It has two fill valves, one for wash and one for rinse. It should have 150F supplied to the wash fill valve and 180F to the rinse fill valve.

Hi I have a Hobart amx-16 quite an old machine now... when I pull down hood to start cycle, indicator comes up FIL.... during its cycle.... any advice please? Is there a reset function

This sounds like the dishwasher's filter might be clogged. It should be located under the bottom dish rack. It's fairly easy to disassemble. Just remove it and clean it out. Also, check under the filter to make sure there isn't any more debris and/or lime deposits there as well.
I hope this helps! :)

Bof fault code

The display of "BoF" on the display is simply a confirmation code to commence the next operation on the dishwasher. It is not a fault code.
Refer manual of a AMX model Hobart dishwasher. If your model is different the general codes are same.
