Here are a few things to try:

Check that your timezone settings are correct on the touch:

On 2.1 firmware, it's:
1. Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Time Zone Support
2. Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone

On your pc, also make sure that it has the correct date, time, and time zone.
Finally, there have been problems when you allow your computer to enter hibernation mode with iTunes running. After waking up the pc and syncing, time and date can get messed up.
To avoid this, close iTunes before letting pc go in hibernation mode.

Our calendar is called the Gregorian calendar, in which a year is 365.2425 days. It is worthwhile noting a Gregorian day is 24 hours.

Calendar comes from the Latin, meaning first day of the month.

The ideal calendar is one which reflects properly the movements of the earth. That is, you want dawn and dusk to always be at approximately the same part of the day, with allowance for the seasons. You also want the seasons to always be at about the same part of the year, without much variation. So that is why the day and the year have this length of time.

The major calendar before our Western Christian Gregorian calendar was the Julian calendar, due to Julius Caesar, and still sometimes used. This was pretty accurate but still had a drift of 3 days every 4 centuries. By 1582 a correction had to be made, because Easter wasn't happening at the right time. Pope Gregory decreed a slight change in the length of a year, and a reform in the use of leap years, which are in fact regular corrections so the calendar will fit properly to the movements of the earth.

I HAVE AN ITOUCH AND USE YAHOO CALENDAR. HOW DO I SYNCH THEM? SHOULD I USE MOBILE ME?


If you are running iOS 4.x software or newer
  1. Go to the ipod touch settings application
  2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  3. If you have a Yahoo mail account setup click on that account and turn on the calendar sync option
  4. if you don't have an account setup, click Add Account and then click Yahoo
  5. Fill in the fields requested and click Next
  6. If you are successfully logged in you will be allowed to turn on and off specific sync services. make sure that calendar is in the on position
  7. The next time you open up your ipod touch calendar you will see a page allowing you to select which Yahoo Mail layer you would like to view or edit
If you are running iOS 3.x
  1. Go to your iPhone or iPod Touch settings application.
  2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Other and then tap Add CalDAV Account.
  5. For the Server you can simply type yahoo
  6. Now enter in the Yahoo! ID and password you use to sign in to your Yahoo! Calendar
  7. Once you click save, the iPhone or iPod Touch will verify your Yahoo! ID and password.
  8. The next time you open up your iPhone or iPod Touch Calendar you will see a page allowing you to select which Yahoo! Calendar layer you would like to view or edit.

I cant sinc my i phone as it says unable to connect to i tunes store.


Please follow the steps below to resolve your sync issues which applies to iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If you make changes during any of the steps below, try syncing again with MobileMe on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  1. If you are syncing calendars or contacts, view the data on MobileMe Calendar or MobileMe Contacts. If the data does not appear to be correct there, the issue is not with your device. If you are syncing using a Mac, see this article for more information. If you are syncing using a PC, see this article for more information.
  2. Make sure your device is up to date with the latest software. To make sure your device is up to date, connect it to your computer, open iTunes, and click "Check for Update."
  3. On your device, make sure you are able to connect to the Internet. For example, open Safari on your device, then browse to http://www.apple.com . MobileMe requires an Internet connection to sync. (A 3G or WiFi connection is recommended during setup or when following many of the steps below; they may require several minutes via an EDGE connection.)
  4. Confirm that a sync is not already occurring. If a sync is occurring, the activity spinner (in the status bar) will display while looking at Safari Bookmarks (if Bookmarks are currently syncing), Calendar (if calendars are currently syncing), or Contacts (if contacts are currently syncing). If a sync is occurring, wait for the sync to complete, and then see if your data is up-to-date.
  5. Make sure you are looking at your full set of contacts or calendars. When configuring your MobileMe account in iOS 3.1 and later, you will have a choice to Merge or Don’t Merge your data. If you choose Don’t Merge, your MobileMe data is kept separate from the data that was already on your device. In Contacts/Calendars, tap the button in the upper left corner until you are able to see all Groups or Calendars, and verify that you are looking at your MobileMe data.
  6. Confirm that you are able to get your MobileMe Mail on your device. If you receive an alert message when attempting to get your MobileMe Mail, your account may not be configured correctly, or you may not have a reliable internet connection. If the alert message is about your username or password being incorrect, go to the next step.
  7. Verify your MobileMe account is configured correctly on your device:

    1. On the home screen, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    2. Tap Fetch New Data, and make sure Push is turned On. Tap Mail... to go back one screen.
    3. Tap your MobileMe account.
    4. Tap Account Info and check the Address field.
    5. Verify that your address appears correct (it should appear as your MobileMe email address, such as membername@me.com or membername@mac.com). If your account does not appear as expected, see the “Delete and re-add your MobileMe account” under the Advanced Troubleshooting section below.
    6. If you received an alert about your username or password during step 6, delete and re-enter your MobileMe password, and then check your Mail again. If your still receive the same message, try logging into www.me.com. If you are unable to log in, see this article.
    7. If your account does appear to be entered correctly, go back one screen and confirm the sliders for the data that you want to sync are set to On.
  8. Verify that your device is connected to the MobileMe service. To confirm this, visit http://www.me.com/find from a computer. Because Find my iPhone relies on the same connection as MobileMe Sync, your device should be listed as "Online" for as long as it has an active Internet connection. If the device does not appear as expected, please see this article about troubleshooting Find My iPhone.
  9. Restart your device: Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off. After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on.
  10. Wait an hour and try again. Apple may temporarily disable an account from syncing with MobileMe if it is determined that an account may be taking longer than normal to sync. By waiting an hour and trying again, this allows for the previous sync to complete. If you find your account encounters the issue again, go to the Advance troubleshooting section.
Advanced Troubleshooting
If the above steps do not resolve your issue on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can try these advanced troubleshooting steps:

Turn all syncing off and then back on
From the home screen, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and then tap your MobileMe account. Tap the sliders off for each account that your are syncing. If prompted to do so, tap "Keep on My iPhone" (or iPad/iPod touch). Turn your device off and back on, then re-enable syncing. If prompted to do so, choose Merge with MobileMe. Wait a few minutes, and try syncing again.

Isolate the issue to a specific data type
If the above did not resolve the issue, once again turn off all syncing, and then test each data type one at a time. For example, if Contacts syncs successfully, but Calendars does not, focus your troubleshooting on Calendars.
If you have isolated the issue to either Contacts or Calendars that are not syncing successfully (one works, the other does not), see this article recommendations about how to clean up that data on your Mac or PC, as it is likely causing the issue.
Delete and re-add your MobileMe account
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, make sure you have a copy of all Contact, Calendar, and Bookmark data on your device saved on your Mac/PC. From the home screen, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and then tap your MobileMe account. Tap Delete Account. (If prompted to do so, choose "Delete from My iPhone" (or iPad/iPod touch). Restart your device. After it restarts, on the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars screen, tap Add Account > MobileMe, and set up your account again.

• If you cannot remember your pass code, you will unfortunately have to restore your
iPod Touch which will wipe everything off the iPod and restore it back to factory settings.

The only positive side to this is that your music, video, contacts and calendar settings will still be in tact but you may lose text messages mail and so on.

One more possibility: if you were able to recently sync your iPod Touch with iTunes before you forgot your passcode, when you perform a restore, iTunes will put all of the data of your last sync in iTunes (before the passcode issue) back onto your iPod.

• This is the process which will allow you to regain access to your iPod Touch.

Transfer palm calendar to Ipod touch


First  Export Palm calendar as  a Vcal  to your desktop. Then import the vcal on your desktop into ical Synch the itouch with ical.
The problem with this solution is that you have to repeat the whole process every time you want to update the calendar, but it does work

My ipod want let me unlock it or shut it off


This is an ipod touch, correct? If not please let me know, I have the steps for the older ipod models as well.
If it is frozen you will simply need to reset it. However if it is locked and you do not remember or know the password, the ONLY way to unlock it is to restore using itunes. Below I have posted a step by step on reseting and restoring just in case you unsure as to how to do either.

To resetPress and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Using the Restore function for your iPod touch is part of standard troubleshooting procedure. Restoring your device will erase all data from your iPod touch, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. All iPhone or iPod touch settings are restored to their factory condition.



Use the following steps to restore your iPod touch:

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update.
Connect your iPod touch to your computer.
Select your iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
Select the Summary tab.
Select the Restore option.
When prompted to back up your iPod touch's settings before restoring, select the Back Up option (as seen in the image below). If have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.

Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (As long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your phone).

Once the restore process has completed the iPod touch restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up

I have a new Ipod touch and I can receive emails on RR but cannot send or forward emails on RR. I would appreciate a step-by-step guide to set-up RR for sending email or forwarding emails....


Try this...
1) On your Ipod Touch select "Settings." 2) Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars." 3) Under Accounts select your "Lwilson22@satx.rr.com" account. 4) Under the "Outgoing Mail Server" heading select "SMTP." 5) Under "Primary Server" it should indicate ""RR SMTP Sever" (or something to that effect)  - If so, make sure that the "Server" is switched to the "On" position.  (If it was originally switched off then switching it on should do the trick.
 - If not, continue to Step 6. 6) On the "SMTP" page select "Add Server..." 7) Fill out the fields accordingly.  If you are unsure of the information check with you service provider (in this case Road Runner).  - In most cases it would likely be "smtp.rr.com," plus you own "User Name" and "Password." 8) Select "Save"
