Question about Xerox DocuColor 12 Color Copier

White lines Xerox docucolor 12

Hi, When I changed the developer, got rid of the 9-363 error, however I will check the fuses too. Thanks for the advice.

If I get white lines through the whole length of the paper, what do you think it can be. I changed my photoreceptor (print cartridge), fuser roller, 2nd BTR, and checked my 1st BTR for any marks/damage, but everything looks O.K. Still get the white lines. Do you think it can be the paper type? This occurs especially when printing all solid colors. Don't really see it on photos/

Does PWB stand for Printed Wire Board?

Thank you!

Yes, it is one color, white. It is a single white thick line along the whole length. If it is short and thin, would that be the wire in the print cartridge that needs cleaning? Thank you!

Yes, it is lead edge to trail edge. I have another back up machine and will be able to replace the whole part. Thank you!

Do an emergency stop on the machine as the paper is just coming into the main path, and you will catch the inage on the IBT. with a bit of luck on the drum as well. Is it not in 1 colour the white lines? Also are they thick or pencil like lines and from lead edge to trail edge?

Is the white line in any one particular colour. Do you think you might just need to get someone who knows about these machines to service it properly? Thin pencil lines from lead edge to trail edge are usually the developer housing contaminated. I'm gonna guess at that seeing as you have been in that area. You never told me if it was lead edge to trail edge or not.

Do you know how to get into diagnostics on the machine UI? If so use the print button and selext number 11 and a colour, it will giv you an indication if there is a problem in any particular problem

Docucolor making lines

Hi!

Have you tryed to switch drums (magenta - yellow)? There may also be a problem with developer. If it is not your Magenta drum, it might be the fuser as well - if you pull out your fuser and look on that outside area, you may see a bunch of squiggly lines on it. If so, replace it. If neither your drum replacement or fuser replacement does it, then it is the developer which needs replacement.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Error 9-363 Xerox

well I dont know how extensive you want to get but is what is happened is the Black developer housing has gotten to much toner in it and it is packed in there. The solution to the issue is to replace the developer material. with new. It may not be nessasary to replace the housing but that may also need to be replaced.
