Question about Samsung DVD-P245 DVD Player
Hi, I have tried playing around 25 DVDs, out of which. One dvd plays fine but the rest of 24 dvds give a scrambled video output. Can some one please help? THanks Joshua
Mosr DVD recorders have a "compatible" setting or require you to "finalise" the disc. Check that is being done.
It's also worth checking that the laptop will play other DVDs sometimes you need a codec.

it sounds like the player has bit the dust. you can try a lens cleaner disc, but it is doubtful that it'll work. Samsung set-top players don't have the best reputation, but this one actually scored pretty well on Amazon customer reviews (this kind of issue in particular (cannot read media anymore - or even initially out of the box) is one that Samsungs are known for). I'd recommend just making the jump to a Blu-Ray player since they have fallen in price and a good unit can be picked up fairly inexpensively (get a profile 2.0 unit)
