dvd and Blu-ray players are just that.............players only. There are no speed changes for players. Just recorders. Players can recognize all types of different speeds for playback . There's nothing you have to change. This forum is for players only. Did you mean to go to the dvd and Blu-ray RECORDERS section?
If so, then your question would be relevant and we would need your brand and model to answer your question
Use the remote to get into the setup menus. There may be an option to change tape speed when recording. Alternatively, when you press record on the remote (or deck), you may have option to change the tape speed there.
The VCR part of your deck may be able to playback, but not record in SLP mode.
Searched around for the manual for your machine, and though there are references to it, it appears that a manual / information page doesn't exist for the model # that you listed.
Sure you can... connect a cable from the Output jacks of your DVD player and attach it to the Input jacks of your Magnavox the same way you connected the TV. You'll need to use your remote on the Magnavox to change the Input it records from so it conforms with where you plugged the cable into.
if you are using a cable box / converter dvd-r and tv must be on ch 3.............
okay you dont have a cable box the tv is set to ch 3....the dvd-r, set up, initial settings and change cable to air...........then channel setting auto (scans all channels except HBO)...now you able to look at a dvd, record your show (s)
