The pins are for shipping so no need to put them back. The rest just bolts on. You should have removed the case to get to the pump:

Rci-2950dx 4 pin microphone wiring schematics

you can't because of the up/down buttons on the mic. the 2950 is a 6 pin and the d-104 is a 4 pin. If you can figure a way to eliminate the u/d switch then go for it. there is a wiring diagram on www.cbtricks.com

My machine was vibrating during spin. so I took

This assumes that you have a basic Kenmore / Whirlpool top load, direct drive, neutral drain (it doesn't spin until the pump removes most of the water) machine.

First, see the Sears parts site for your washer:
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action

Enter your model number (###.######) and you'll see a list of major sub-components with diagrams and parts.

The section on the Base should have a diagram of where the springs and vibration pads attach.

Ths following Whirlpool Service Manual for top load direct drive washers also has a section on the base and where the springs attach.

Look at the diagram of the machine base.

If you have the basic Kenmore top load, you can use a thick screwdriver to pry the tub base up from the machine base and pop the old pads out.

There are no diagrams available of this - however using some logic - you can figure out the path of the water.

A picture of the bottom of the washer would be helpful as well.

Water comes in from the water inlet hose to the pump. Then from the pump - it goes out to the impellers (water wands).
Then the drain (chopper) inside the washer goes to a solenoid operated valve that discharges into the garbage disposal or waste drain.

Thanks

Washer won't drain.

Remove power first! The pump is very easy to remove, ( unlocks from the base ) take the pump apart and check for foreign objects inside the pump assy. The power wires pull off and matters not which way they go back on. Also check the hoses to and from the drain pump for any foreign objects. The pump is usually at the back right side ( looking at the washer from the front )

BOSCH DISHWASHER Flooding

Removing the water level sensor it is not a difficult operation, it is held with one bolt at the base of the floater arm.

The problem is that you cannot be sure that the floater is not working unless you find out that the floater is filled with water or stuck.

There is an electronic test to verify if water level switch activated by the floating sensor is working. Instructions here: Bosch dishwasher helps.

Wont drain!!!

Check first the drain lines and the drain pump.

If the drain pump is working, and there is no problem in there, then the problem is usually because the water level switch activated by the floating sensor is stuck.

You probably need to have the water level switch replaced.
