I have a T5082 Gateway E-Machine and I cannot logon because I get a message that I have a password lockout. How do I solve that problem?

Reboot the system and start tapping the F8 key when the system initializes
until you see a menu appear. Select the Safe Mode option using the arrow
keys and press ENTER. Log on with the System Administrator account. (This
account should not require a password) Make the necessary changes there.

The System Administrator account is "Administrator" with a black password if you dont know. :) Hope that helps.

Launch startup repair or start windows normally I choose repair and it takes me to the logon screen but its for other user and I dont have the user name or the password for that

i think it is windows vista just change the user and put your password..if you dont have enough rights in the cpu use administrator account to make changes on it

If you can log in to the system, you can go to user accounts in control panel and change the password.
If you can't you can try steps here

Windows XP HE on 505GR logon/logoff

it seems to be issue with windows. try logging the computer in safe mode , safe mode with networking then you have to copy mandatory profile to the current user logged in

ATI Radeon HD 3200 conflict with NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT driver

To solve this problem, uninstall the old driver, the ATI Radeon, it will not cause a problem when you uninstall it. After the uninstall, restart the computer and then install the support cd for the NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT.

Cannot logon to system

Format and reinstall a fresh copy of windows xp.

You can try to use windows recovery console but it also asks administrator password.
