First, press 355 on your phone to activate the call forward feature. Once it asks for a forward destination, press whatever number your company uses to dial an outside line. After that dial your number like normal and hang up the phone. This will forward all calls directly to your cell phone.
The second method is the same as the one listed above but it uses the feature code 356. 356 will forward calls if you do not answer from your Mitel phone first.
It's called "call forwarding" and the procedure varies from company to company. With many, dial * 7 2 on your home phone, then at the second dial tone dial your cell phone number. Answer your cell phone when it rings to confirm the call forwarding. To cancel call forwarding when you return from vacation, dial * 7 3 on your home phone. If the above doesn't work then contact your landline telephone company for their instructions regarding call forwarding.
this is your operator problem so first try forwarding the call in to a number in the same network as you having. If you use vodafone no then forward call to other vodafone no. If that too not forwarded call your service provider and then ask them to activate the call forwarding and the call waiting service
Cordless phones can not 'forward' a call to an outside line.
Forwarding must be controlled by the ATT, Verizon, or landline provider. Please contact your provider to determine if you have call forwarding feature built into your service package.
Then, follow the instructions of your landline phone provider. Here is the instructions for Verizon:
Activating Call Forwarding You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request. Each time a call is forwarded, you will hear one short reminder tone on your home phone, but you will not be able to answer the call from your home number.
Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.
Press . In some areas you must use Dial 1172 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.
When you hear the tone, set or change the Call Forwarding number by dialing the telephone number where you want your calls transferred. You will hear the number you entered ring. When the number is answered, Call Forwarding is activated.
If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes. You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated.
Figure out if your particular cell phone model has the option to forward incoming calls. You can do this by visiting your cell phone manufacturer's website or reading the manufacturer's manual that came along with the purchase.
Access the "Settings" menu on your cell phone and select "Phone Settings" menu.
Select the "Call Forwarding" option in the "Phone Settings menu. This option is usually found at the bottom of the "Phone Settings" menu. Selecting the "Call Forwarding" option gives you access to call-forwarding controls.
Switch on the "Call Forwarding" slider. The default position is off.
Insert the phone number you wish to forward your calls to in the "Forward To" field. This field most commonly lies below the "Call Forwarding" slider.
Exit the setup menu by pressing the home button. You may be asked to confirm/save the changed settings depending on your cell phone model.
Make a test phone call to the cell phone number on which you just enabled the call rerouting option. If the call is forwarded and received on the number you entered, it means that the "Call Forwarding" option has been activated.
it depends on your carrier (and most of them dont)...you register cell with the dont call registry (for telemakets) and you can also tried this trick for those unwanted (done with ex..) if you have all the numbers for this person (such as home, job, cell and etc.) forward the calls...forward their cell to their home) they call you from their cell (they be calling there home)...forward home to job numbers...forward job numbers to their mothers cell/home...you got the picture...it works like a charm the only way they get you is through an unknown number...
