We have a brand new HP Pavilion & have bought a Netgear WG111v3 to connect wirelessly to the internet (this is the 2nd PC in our home- the 1st is connected by ethernet; I also have a laptop which has a wireless connection). I havc installed as instructed & get to the Netgear Smart Wizard which scans incessantly & cannot connect. I am not at all tecdhnical so &ll the advice on the web bis gobbledegook to me. I have read some advice to download the most recent drivers. Does this mean I shiould downmoad on one of the other computers & install it via USB key onto the new one? Do I need to do anything else - ie change settings on the router via the PC connected by ethernet?

Please help - am totally lost!

Look at this page:

See which version you have and download the correct drivers.
Good luck :).

Hi there, I just bought a new computer to which has the home network connection but my old computer now needs to be configured with my new NetGear WNA1100 WirelessN 150 USB Adapter to be able to have...

Since your computer can't read cd and you have the installation cd what you can do is to copy the contents of the cd to a flash drive from another system then use the flash on your own pc, and install it from the flash. Try this.

Thanks

Yellow exclamation mark over the network adapter- 6To4 adapter. When I uninstalled and restarted my computer the adapter was not reinstalled. Sony laptop with Vista 32 OS.

the yellow exclamation mark indicates that the driver is not installed... run the installation disk once again install the adapter .. if unable to install with cd then, right click on the adapter from device manager and click update driver and manually update the driver ... it should work

6t04 adapter, yellow triangle and exclamation mark,

Ok, first thing you need to do is, see if you network adapter is enabled ... You can do this in the Device manager. If there even is an adapter ... If there isn't download the drivers for your Ethernet card, put them on a mem stick and just install them on your Vista machine ...
