Is the format refering to a file you are trying to play? If so, convert the file. It may be a resolution issue on the Computer? How are you connecting? HDMI? Do you see any thing other than the error message?
You get invalid format, or format not support becuase the video resolution setting on your PC is too high for the monitor to display, you need to lower your PC video resolution to the native resolution of the TV to get the best picture. Look at the owner manual for your TV or search the web.
1. Turn it on 2. Press "Setup" on the remote 3. Press the down button twice on the remote 4. Press the right button once on the remote 5. Press the up button once on the remote 6. Press "Ok" on the remote
Ran into the same problem with this DVD player and my LG tv. Try this:
Open the DVD tray, with the DVD tray open press the HDMI select button until the proper resolution for your tv is illuminated, put the DVD back in, close the tray and try again. Simple fix -- worked beautifully for me.
