Question about Panasonic CW-1006FU Air Conditioner

1 Answer

Replacement My airconditioner has started to leak water into the room, and is becoming noisier. Does any one know what would be the cureent model replacement for it? Also, the manual says if it is leaking into the room to tilt it back, but it is wedged in tightly, and has also never done this before, so I suspect this may not be the problem. Again, any suggestions?

Remove the front panel, & look for the drain tube that runs from the drip pan under the cold coil. It is likely blocked & may be cleared with a piece of coathanger wire. Be gentle.

We have a fujitsuAST30RGA-W airconditioner, it is leaking into the room. can a new indoor unit be purchased, does anyone know? the unit works well, apart from dribbling all over the place.

it has to be set on a tilt in order to drain out the rear if it's condensating really bad it may need a freon charge you should take it out and wash it real good

do you want it to be in repair, or you want it to replace...?

Tip

Water leak in split a/c.

When compressor pumps the vapor of the freon passes through condenser coil pipelines where the heat removed by fan and becomes low pressure low temp and then travels as liquid. By removal of heat in the room again the freon get vaporized and sent to compressor. In this cycling if your indoor coil is dust blocked the room heat can't be removed. resulting this the liquid becomes forming ice over the coil. And when it cut off by coil temp, the fan only will work and ice get defrosted and water spray thr' vent.Due to coil block and makes airlock to drain pipeline. Resulting to water leak inside. To avoid water leaking service your a/c periodically.

Airconditioner leaking on drivers side

it may not be leaking it may be that the rubber hose that allows the heater case to drain is plugged up it is usually near the passenger side exhaust manifold and looks like a small rubber hose with a bend in it coming out f the fire wall and not connected to anything on the end sticking out.

Top Load Ultimate Care 2 Just below the lid in

This problem is commonly caused by a water inlet valve (also known as a mixing valve) leaking by. If you live in an area that has hard water, or if you use well water, sediment, rust or calcified deposits can accumulate in the inlet valve and cause it not to close properly. Usually when they start leaking, you need to replace them. The following link explains how to access and replace the valve:

If the model number is correct, the part number for a replacement valve is 285805.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Zoneline Airconditioning - Winterizing and drain line

Yes this will recycle the room and can be cover outside if it is not a heat pump and will use elec heat strips to heat. As long as it is tilled toward the back the water will run out the back without a drain kit there should also be a drain hole in the bottom.

Airconditioner is on all the time now, but frosty ice is forming on the coils. The air coming out then becomes cool, but not cold and then we have to turn it on to fan in order for the ice to defrost...as...

most airconditioners will have a cutout or something called a defrost cycle, which turns it off for a while to let the ice melt. And if you run it flat out all the time this may happen too (happened to me in Thailand once, so I just turned it on when I was in my room - and it worked much better)
If it has just started doing it, the recycle timer may need repairing
