Question about Lexmark X75 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Could be your USB drivers for the actual port itself is giving you troubles. What you can do is this. Unplug the printer! Go to Device Manager(Right-click on my computer then click Properties, click on Hardware Tab then press Device manager Button) Look under Universal Serial Bus Controller. Is there a device with a yellow exclamation? if there is, right click on it and uninstall. Go to the top of the list the right click on your computer name and click on Scan for hardware changes! If it finds new hardware and prompts for drivers,(If asks to check online, select no, not at this time) select Install from specific location, then click next, Select the top one(Search these specific locations, and uncheck everything else)!! Next. It should go all the way through, if you get a propmt about unsigned driver click continue anyway! If it goes through try connecting your printer if not it will end in with an error, get back to me with the exact error!! Also your pc might require chipset drivers!! Get back to me with your computer specs if the above doesn't help! regards, babb
