To test the headset, connect it to your PC and listen to some music. Use the green plug and USB. If both speakers work and it sounds fine, then there's nothing wrong with the headset.
Why don't you contact Turtle Beach directly for help?
Plug in the green and USB jacks to your PC and listen to some music. If both speakers work, then there's nothing wrong with the headset. Contact TB directly if you need help finding out what's wrong with your setup.
If you have installed the Turtle Beach software. find the programs you installed. Right-click on them ona at a time and select Properties. In the compatability tab click "Run this program in compatability mode for:" and choose the "Windows 95" option. This method works most of the time for me. Give it a try.
