Question about Black & Decker 9072CTN 2.4V Cordless Screwdriver
Model 9076 - I know it's old but I don't know how to get it apart to replace nickel cadium battery
Just to clarify you have a model number 9076 and I would assume type 1. If so there are screws holding the 2 halves together that would have to be removed the batterys are in the lower section of tool. They are about 8.60. I would recommend going to DeWaltservicenet.com and typing in your model number to look at a product explosion before attempting this repair. Keep in mind that I saw that quite a few of the parts are no longer available so it might be time to retire this one.
