Samsung R-450 Constant Loading screen

I have a Samsung r-450 Messenger cell phone from Metro PCS. You are able to download ringtones and mp3's on the phone. I recently bought a Kingston Micro SD card, a 2gb. Yesterday I started downloading pictures and ringtones from www.phonezoo.com. Everything was working fine all day. I went to go and put more stuff on later on that day( on a friends computer), with the usb cord and it didn't even connect. The phone had turned off by itself. I went to go turn it on and push buttons and nothing worked at all, it wouldnt even turn on. Then I took the battery out and tried turning it back on. It went to the samsung loading screen like normal, then just kept doing that loading screen over and over and over. I thought maybe it was updating something, so I let that go on for a little while, but it never stopped. So I took that battery out again for a few minutes, blew on the battery reciever and ect, put it back in. Did the same thing....
This phone cost me $200, and I really would hate to have to pay to have it fixed or replaced. I do have the insurance, but that won't cover the whole cost of the phone.....

I am thinking perhaps one of the files are corrupt and now it crashed my phone. I tried taking the sd card out, thinking hopefully it was just the card, but it kept doing it still.
