I have the xbox hook up to my t.v. and they are saying i have to many profiles how do i get rid of the profiles that are on the xbox now

Go to:
>Settings (tab furthest to the right on the Dashboard)
>System
>Memory
>HDD (if that's where you save your gamer profiles; if not, choose one of the other options that may be listed to select your storage device)
>Gamer Profiles
From there, you can see exactly how many profiles you have and there should be an on-screen prompt that should tell you how to delete them (I think you have to hit Y).

**BE ADVISED**
Deleting your gamer profiles may result in the loss of saved game data and achievements linked to them unless the profiles are backed up in the Cloud via Xbox LIVE or on an external storage device.

I hope this helps you out.

My kids put a pass code on my xbox and now i cant use it

If you have forgotten your pass code, and if you have to remove it to sign into Xbox LIVE, follow these steps:

Note The following steps apply only to Xbox LIVE online profiles. When you delete an offline profile, you lose any Gamerscore that is associated with the profile. You also lose achievements and statistics that are associated with the profile.
  1. Delete the profile for which you forgot the pass code. To delete a profile, follow these steps:
    1. Go to the Settings hub and select System.
    2. Select Storage.
    3. Select the memory device on which your profile is stored.
    4. Select Gamer Profiles.
    5. Select the profile that you want to delete.
    6. Select Delete. When you are prompted, select Delete Profile Only.
  2. Press the Guide button and select Download Profile.
  3. Follow on-screen instructions to download your Xbox LIVE profile.
  4. If you want to set the pass code again, follow the steps to set an Xbox LIVE pass code.

Since i put in a usb drive my xbox 360 has corruped 2 gamer profiles and deleted my avatars what has happened?

i had this happen myself, its just how your xbox uses your profile, with the new usb stick, the way to solve the issue is to delete both profiles off the hdd and usb. then recover your gamertag from xbox live. that will fix issue

Cannot watch movies in divx format when am offline...

The problem you are facing is due to a corrupt profile, do not delete your current profile, just create a new gamer tag profile on the same xbox 360 and download the media update from Xbox Live, you would be able to play DivX movies again offline.

Before you create the new gamer tag, delete the old instance of media update downloaded earlier to play DivX movies

I faced similar problem, it got resolved after creating a new gamer tag.
