Question about Mini Motorized Bike
My 50cc mini bike starts then dies 5 secs after starting.
i also have to use excessive amounts of starting fluid and the bike starts kinda idles up and down then dies. yesterday it would start but when you pulled the gas it wouldnt go anywhere but didnt die. why is this? why does it die? when it was starting and running but not goin i figured it was the carburater but im not sure. if you guys can figure it out for me and let me know that would be great because i am 17 and just now learning about all this auto part stuff lol... thanks
It sounds like you may have 2 problems
dump out the gas put new in
Remove the spar plug and examine the plug if it is wet and black it is fouled
if it is white ad dry it is not getting gas
If you can replace the spark plug if not just clean it with a wire brush put back in and tighten
Finally make sure the spark plug wire is not lose
Best of luck to you

Clean carb and jets and new plug or gap it at .35 and 93 gas

Sounds like youre being starved of fuel, stripping down the carb and checking float levels and carb/fuel setup could help?
