Re: Dog ate Wii Fit CD.
You're going to need to contact Nintendo to have the disc replaced. Their contact information is on their website. They might not replace it for free, but I don't expect they'll charge you the full price.
If the disc is scratched, but not destroyed, you can probably get it resurfaced at your local PlayNTrade or GameCrazy.

mabey your a/v vables ate in the wrong slot or they have a short. If you ate using hdmi check if all the little metal prongs are in tact, both yv and system as well as the cord it self. Also check if your have your tv on the correct aux setting.(game, hdmi 1, 2 etc) go from there and I'm sure you will figure it out.
In the Wii fit board where the batteries are is a red button.
On the WII console there is a flip door up front, by the CD drive and you open to insert the SD card and there is a red button inside.
Push both red buttons and your Wii fit board should synchronize with the console.
This is really very frustrating when you face such kind of problems. You may check out Wii Fix Guideto fix the problem yourself. This DIY guide will show step by steppictures to fix the problems yourself without any technical knowledge. .
wow ur daughters mean! but for buying a replacement disc, i havent heard of a wii fit being sold without the board, u can try ebay but its unlikely. and as the disc has been physically damaged u won't be able to get nintendo to replace it either, (possibly speak to them nicely and they MIGHT replace it for a fee). if you wait a while, when more games come out that use the balance board, then nintendo may decide to sell wii boards and wii board compatible games seperately, but in all cases it seems that you may have to buy a new wii fit.
Generally, Best Buy™ stores will treat only video game consoles themselves as "hardware." Wii Fit (with the Wii Balance Board) however is considered an accessory/software, as it requires a Nintendo Wii to play.
A good rule of thumb if you are unsure what an item is classified as is to consider the product's primary function. For example, while some of the newest generation of consoles may have multiple additional features (like the Playstation 3's ability to play Blu-Ray discs), each console is generally advertised emphasizing its primary function as video game hardware and not by their secondary features. Wii Fit is essentially an add-on to an already existing product, again making it an accessory/software product.
