The model indicated uses what is called a Optical Light Engine, it is a very expensive part and likely is your problem---not much else will cause this trouble.

Let me know if you have questions.

Have little blue dots in the middle of the screen when TV is on - already changed blub and dots are still there - cause?

The cause is a bad blue TFT panel in the light engine. Unfortunately the only solution is to replace the entire assembly. It is available at http://www.encompass.com I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4251975-replace_dlp_light_engine which explains how to remove and install a new light engine as well as where to get the parts. If you need more help let me know. Thanks for using FixYa and for the generous rating.

Blue section (corner) and blue dots

This set has no internal manual adjustments for color. The Tracking or B&W balance is accessed via the service menu. I don't suggest you attempt to adjust without instrumentation. the trouble with your set is not an adjustment. Most likely the Optics are at fault. This model has had issues with filters in the optics being destroyed over time by the lamp. The blue haze will get worse and continue to grow over the whole picture. The only option is to remove the Optics (light engine) and sent it out to be rebuilt.

Kp-51ws510 picture issues

Bob, remove the front speaker panel and you will see a small access panel remove that also and you will see a small block with 6 dials on it. three on top and three on the bottom. Look closely at the dials and you will see focus for 3 of the dials and Screen for the other 3. The dials marked screen control the drive amount for each tube and are laid out like the tubes green dial in the middle and blue dial on the same side as the blue tube. try turning the blue tube down a little. If that deosnt help you will no doubt need a new blue tube, which is a fairly common problem with that model Sony. If you require more assistance please let me know.
