You will have to have a tech install a Horizontal timing kit....That part # is 4835 310 57673. The chassais # on the back of the tv should read L04.1U AA. Now you know!!!!!

PS You may have just a remote control to correct this. Using the remote control just press the arrow button for picture size...simple.

JUST PURCHASED A 60 INCH DLP TELEVISION MOST TV CHANNELS ARE NOT FULL SCREEN.... WHAT STEPS DO I TAKE TO INLARGE THE PICTURE TO FIT THE 60 INCH SCREEN ?

Channels that transmit in 480 or 720 may not fill the screen. You can use the Aspect or Zoom button or feature to expand those channels to fill the screen but there may be some stretching in one direction or parts of the picture may extend beyond the edge of the TV. Some TVs have a "justified" setting that will not distort the center of the picture and just stretches the corners. Look in your manual for Picture Size, Aspect, or Zoom for details about your TV.

Power issues (Tv not turning on) were typically due to faulty ballast. While the TV reports a bad lamp it is the ballast itself causing the issue. Samsung is well aware and will replace both the ballast and the lamp (since the lamp can be prematurely aged but the bad ballast). After replacment most people stop having issues.
