Question about Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 Webcam
When I open quickcapture and click on record...it works for 1 second, freezes, and displays an error. what do i do???
It may be a corrupt driver or a software glitch, remove the camera from usb port,uninstall driver and software and reinstall. Try camera in a different usb port and record again to see if the same thing applies. You can also try recording in windows movie maker 2 to see if the same problem occurs, atleast then you will know if its a camera hardware fault or not after trying 2 different recording programmes.

Tips for a great answer:
Launch the Logitech QuickCam software by either double-clicking the QuickCam icon on your desktop or clicking the QuickCam icon in your system tray.
Click on the QuickCapture icon to launch QuickCapture.
Select the video size that is needed by clicking on the small arrow where it says "Video Size" to the lower right of the picture.
Click on the arrow on the button that says "Record Video" to open the Video Options window.
Clear the check mark next to "Enable Motion Detection."
