Itunes issue

Hi there ,
Since you are a neophyte I would suggest you goto the my computer and verify whether you can see a cd rom icon other than the regular drive that was internal and if you cant see this ext drive in my computer then go to start>settings>control panel
then click system
go to tab written hardware
then click device manager
in the list check yellow marked item
confirm me this
If you can see this icon in my comp then try double cliking the same
